Travels

I have been travelling since I was 6 months old, starting with Mexican jungles to explorations across the US. My parents valued travelling more than anyone I knew and know today actually. They taught me the importance of travelling and I will forever be grateful for the sacrifices they made to show us the world as much as they could. When we travelled across the US my lust for the world was awakened, and has been growing since. My travels to Europe (Paris, south of France and London and Cambridge) really changed me. My inependence was awakened when backpacking though the cities seeing my heritage; my family. Since then, I have been across the US still, Mexico, Cuba, Bali, Austalia, Quebec City, California, Toronto and Montreal! Some I've loved so much I had to return!

This was my 18th birthday cake that my mom had gotten to celebrate all my efforts to save enough to travel to Australia! I was beyond ecstatic to receive money from all sorts of family and friends to pursue my adventure.

I left for Australia on May 17th 2017. The trip took over 36hours of flying but was so worth it! I started at Montreal then flew to Vancouver, then to Hong Kong, and finally to Perth!

This is the home I was staying in for the 3 and half months I was in Australia. I was staying with my boyfriend's family. In total we were 11 people living under one loving home. It was defintely a struggle to go from the homes in Canada with 2 floors and more space to one bathroom, 4 small rooms. His family was so loving, understanding and supportive, always thinking of how to make me feel more comfortable. I wish I could have contributed more to help. Overall, I had an absolutely amazing time in Armadale and Perth!

My boyfriend's family decided that I should see more of Australia, so we drove with everyone and friends down to Margret River! When I arrived, my breath was taken away at the beauty. It looked like the movie, Kangaroo Jack. When we set up for camp, we found a travelling family who asked us to play Hide and Go Seek in the Bush. Ive never experienced anything so magical! Australians have this sound they make to communicate and when we made the sound, I head campers from all over doing it as well!

Rottnest Island is a tropical island off of Perth. To date, it is my favourite place on earch. It looks like where I dream of to relax. It is beyond magical and beautiful. It has its own tropical waters with 1000's of different fish and wildlife, including the adorable smiling Quoka!

In August, we me and my boyfriend decided to go explore Bali since it was so close and cheap. We did rough it out, but still was an incredible experience for me. It was so different to anything I had ever seen before. People were reckless and there seemed to be hardly any police. It was very close to India. It was so gorgeous but if I would go back, I would need air con haha. I especially enjoyed overcoming fears in the jungles.

This was the tattoo I got in Bali. It has a Joey, with Australian and Balinese flowers.

A few months after my return, my boyfriend decided to move permantenly to Canada! That month my whole entire family flew to Mexico for a family vacation.
